Dave,
I do a publication for the West Coast called Lemon Twyst Classifieds, similar
to Mopar Collector's Guide, just on a much smaller scale.
I pride myself on having the most complete Mopar Car Show Guide for the West
Coast.
I cover California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington,
Man, you posted this one week too late.
There were (3) of us Shelby Dodge guys from the Central Valley (CA) in Monterey
2 Saturdays ago.
There was an All Mopar Car Show at Monterey Peninsula College.
I got there in the early afternoon. I heard about, but, didn't see, a Shelby
Daytona there.
Well, so much for being the first to incorporate that style of hood scoop to a
FWD Mopar Turbo car.
That idea was supposed to be my second project on an 2-Door L-Body hood.
At least my first project, on a 4-Door L-Body hood, hasn't been done by anyone
that I've seen. It's almost done too.
Chris,
He was the one in charge of production of all the Shelby Dodges in the
Whittier, California facility.
You can read my meeting him here, if interested:

Chris
Stefan,
He wasn't one of the last connections to Shelby American. According to him, he
was the LAST connection to the Shelby Dodge era at SA. No one else at Shelby
American cared about the SDs like he did.

Joe,
I visited with him, along with Dennis Cote, in November 2004, during the SEMA
Convention.
We had only planned on being there about 2 hours, but, we ended up staying
there all day.
He was definitely proud of the Shelby Dodges and it showed. Lots of
visitors/potential customers wanted to
Dan,
Thanks for mentioning that. I wrote a little something on the Shelby Forums.
He was a wealth of knowledge about our cars and truly one of us.

I'll be heading down there myself.
Anyone have an address of the meet up spot at the Applebee's?
I don't know the area at all. Also, where's everyone staying in the way of

Any good deals? Anyone got a couch? ;)

Ray,
The Turbocharged 2 Door L-bodies didn't get the Fog Lights like the 4-Door L-bodies
did.
The louvers on the 2-Door L, I believe, was only available when you ordered the Sun,
Sound, and Shade Package.
Sun=Sunroof, Sound=AM/FM/Cassette Player, and Shade=Rear Louvers.
The only 2-Door L to
