Questions
I recently converted my SHelby Charger (Converted T1 to Blowthrough style,
suign forward motion wiring kit) to an automatic. In doing so I switched the
positve cable wire harness as well. THere were acouple differences in the two.
First I had to put the speed sensor wires in the connector.
Can I modify my valve body to be fully manual or do I need to buy a new valve
body? Either way where can I find instructions or the new body? Anybody got
one for sale? Thanks

Well I just changed the rear main on my SC. I bought the Fel-Pro one, which
has rubber ridges on the outside of the seal. I have two manuals, the OEM one
and the CHitlons one. The OEM one says use loctite between the seal and the
housing (retaining/green), the chiltons doesn't, neither did th
when I was replacing the tranny. It was a bugger
to get back on, but it worked well! Be sure to use some anerobic sealer on the
outside of the seal.

Why can I not change the rear main without dropping the oil pan? It seems like

WHat is the proper procedure for changing the rear main seal (T1 engine). I

slip this over the crank, and then tap it into place? THere is also two paper

This is a great summary, thanks. Now have a couple other questions though.
What about an older, say 86-88 charger, daytona, or omni, are these the same as
the 89 van one, 1985, 1984? Even better I guess; what other cars (aside from
chargers) use the a413? Will I need to modify or replace ax
Well I got a line on a A413 from an 89 Van. Will my axles shafst fit this? IS
this a non-lockup style?

So if I use a a413, from 85-88 can I use my axle shafts still? Also is lockup
an option or certain cars have? I do not need this and would prefer one
without. Does anybody have a tranny for sale? Needing a rebuild would be OK
if it is cheap. Thanks
