I'm on a business trip to Hill AFB in SLC, UT this week. Today I saw a
Shelby Lancer parked at a building on the west side of base. Does it
belong to someone here?

Yes, don't bother! Replace the whole rack. If one inner tie rod is going
bad, the rest of the rack is probably not too far from going out, too. I
think you'll find the hasle is not worth it. And yes, it does take a special
tool to replace an inner tie rod.

The Hemi badges were put on various FWD cars that had the Mitsubishi 2.6L
Hemi engine, which was a complete piece of junk, and surely not worthy of
the Hemi name.

Actually, the intercooler makes for a leaner burn, since the air is both
cooler and more dense. OTOH, your problem sounds to me like a fuel pump
that is on its way out, or a clogged filter. It only takes a real bad
tank of gas for a filter to be clogged. It could be the TPS, but I

I'm pretty sure it's the real deal. There was supposed to be 25 cars
made, all white with blue stripes. They didn't make all of them. CS
signed all of the glove box doors from his hospital bed. I have quite a
bit of literature on these cars. $50k for the one car that is not white

I have looked into this. Helped a friend run 'Mini-Stock' with 2.3L
Mustangs. I would be most tempted to run a 2 door L-Body. Going
straight to a N/A shelby charger would start you off with better brakes
and 5 lug wheels. Anyway, the weight distribution, total weight, rigidity,
I have not owned it very long, but have my very nice and quite rare
(1 of 31) silver Spirit R/T up for sale or trade. I am in the market
for a 2004 or newer SRT-4. If you have one, and would want to work
out a trade, please let me know. This R/T is is great shape, and I
do drive it daily.
It's with great sadness that we must part with our 96 Dodge Indy Ram.
This has been one of our favorite, and certainly most reliable
vehicles we have ever owned. We used it to tow our Shelby's here and
there, and have never had a problem. It's ready to go, and needs
nothing mechanical to go
My first 2.2 car was an 83 Omni, that I GLH'd, using a carb'd HO
engine and 5 speed (3.87). It came with chrome mirrors, chrome
bumpers, and chrome down the side of the car, and in many other
places.
