Mike,
Be sure to check crankshaft thrust. Excessive end play can cause the symptom
described. I have seen this B4. May or may not be your issue. I'm just
trying to give you something to check.

Unfortunately it is hard to see exactly how and what materials items on the
"net" are made of. Pictures can be deceiving not only for what can be seen,
but what can't be or isn't shown. I don't recall a materials list being listed
when I looked into Mike's bars. That being said, any bar with
YUP!!! Hall Effect Pick-up.

Bill, I don't know if it will help or not, but we purchased an '88 CSX-T in May
'89. That was soon after Thrifty released them for public sale. Ours had only
6k miles on it's clock. I believe it was all original. I still have the
original headlites on a shelf in the shop. They are Wagner, 1
What you have to tighten are the "bolts" for the lower pivot housing. They are
not screws. They are inverted torx, but a 1/4 drive, six point 5/16 or 8mm
socket will work. Remove the bolts and clean them w/ brake klean and lock
