Trajectory:
I am one of those seeking a lower trajectory. I have used the trajectory
software and read the articles in Gold Digest and other publications that
advise higher loft and claim that it will go longer. However, personal
experience and comparisons have proven the opposite for me at least.
I just re-read this. Boy am I a grammatical genius.

Good observation, but please someone correct me if I am offbase:
If the only factor of difference in a head is only Ti vs say SS, (no
other changes) there is no traj difference.
As far as bigger heads, to establish effect on traj, we need to
determine specifically where the COG is due to the ite

Good post, as always.

Can anyone provide some tips on using shafting beads?
I have Dynacraft's beads and would like to use them
when I assemble Harrison Steel Lite shafts and Z-Model
stainless irons. At least one of the heads has a
fairly loose-fitting hosel that's probably a few

Thanks for the review. Some of your comments as well as others from other

I see many references to people wanting to keep trajectory down (for the
driver). I know this is desired as while I play, I know I hear it enough. My
question is, has anyone done any testing/demos
I agree, the DFS's from Dynacraft are are very nice head. Mid-size aand
good fit and finish. I've got a set on TX-90's that I use sometimes though
I don't really like the feedback from these shafts. I'm used to graphite I
guess.

I believe the with the SMT line you get heads that are each tested with an
air cannon for 100 shots, I believe at around 140mph or so. They are
designed to stand up to the long drive clubhead speeds. I don't believe

There are quite a few club location/replacement services out
there. Several are listed here:

The long story:
If you all remember I was inspired to build a high loft SRV-II after

Pat,
You
need to check/compare lofts and lengths to see what's up - generally there's not
a big difference in trajectory unless one has a lot more offset than the
other.
With
these shafts, my experience is this: the standard rifle is the worst steel
shaft out there - it has the lowest
The Dynacraft DFS are similar and very nice.
