Tom, Hotmail. That's why your e-mail gets deleted on my computer. I was getting so much spam and harassment on Hotmail that I blocked it. Charter is the worst high speed internet service in the country and doesn't care what goes through, nor has enough servers here to handle the traffic . But,

Howdy Bub; I built about a dozen versions of long drivers since you started this topic - how long ago? And before, too. But "before" I was using steel shafts at 44.5" on wood heads. I had one laminated head in which i drilled a honeycomb under the sold plate to remove weight. I never got it to

Don't be so sure it isn't closer to 50g. You can't go by the labeling. They lie. I've pulled ultralight wood shafts that weighed more cut than the graphics labels said. Shaft weights have become another marketing lie in the OEM side. The head weight is gonna be the key to this project. -D

Some of the driver heads that use weight screws will come in in the 180s with no screws. You'd need to epoxy something over the holes. You might be better off buying the darn club though. You'll probably spend more than 250 trying to find the combo that works. -Don M --- On Sun, 3/22/09, T
