I had the same problem personally. I built a Dynacraft 17 degree, Hybrid 2.
This one is built on a .370 shaft. I kept topping it until I moved it
forward in my stance, similar to a driver. Now I can hit it low and boring,
210-225 yds.

If the adhesive is pushed ahead of the grip as it is installed, why don't we
end up with a big glob of adhesive at the end of the grip after
installation, and why is the tape still sticky when we remove the grips? I
believe the adhesive does a lot more than you think.
