I found out the hard way, that it is a bad idea to keep the original
shr-settings.desktop file for backup with some string appended. Illume
will insists to read this file and still refuses to show the icon.

Suprisingly, I could make the menu working again with xrandr -o 3. This even
included the settings dialog.
Else, I really like this clean browser. Keyboard interaction was
functional, too :-)

n't happen to me while I was still on Illume1. With Illume1 it felt like
the app started to load immediately after the first tap and the touchscreen
went numb, no response to further taps.
Just tried deliberately to start more than one instance of "settings" in
Illume1 --> No
, I tapped several
times...
IMHO, whatever actually starts the app should check, whether it is already
running. Is this a bug, or a wish for improvement?

The reason for dimming and suspend is to save power. So there is no point in
autosuspend while there is plenty of power available through usb. Is there a
