hey Patrick,
Firstly, I don't agree that there is a lack of access to capital in
Australia -- we've seen a massive expansion in this area recently.
What type of capital, and how much, have you personally looked for?
Secondly, access to customers depends on who your customers are. Many

hey Ash,
the hardest part for me is maintaining the vision as a single founder.
They say you should ideally have two founders for a startup, and I
agree it would it a lot easier -- the lows are easier to bear with
someone else by your side, and you don't get too carried away by the
highs.

hey Matt,
I used to use my head, but I have found that any decisions I make with
respect to my business must be made with my gut. It's the only way
things seem to work.
Apart from this, there is one core principle which I hold to in the
operation of my business -- publishing. I believe that what

Hi Alan,
lots of people don't like to talk about money -- in fact, I know that
when they put the BRW Rich List together, they get a stack of pushback
from the people that they're reporting on. However, I don't see this
as a reason not to try. And since I published my intention to put

Hi everyone,
FYI Delimiter is starting a rich list for Australia's tech sector --
similar to the annual BRW list. We're looking for suggestions as to
who should be on it. I'm sure there will have been more than a few
from the startup sector. I have a fairly good idea about some of them

Cheers Matt -- I'm happy to eat my words :) Although I still think
it's not the best idea -- it does limit what you can do with the
publication as a commercial concern. I mean, you are essentially
shackling your brand as a publication to theirs. And if they decide to

Sorry to toot Delimiter's horn here -- I just think Silicon Beach
