I just received a TDS1 meter from Hanna Instruments.
I tested a batch that I had brewing for 2 hrs
and it tested 013 ppm.
What would be a good reading in ppm for a brew ?
Also, is a darker, longer brewed batch going to
test higher ppm ?

Hi There,
I haven't posted here in a long time.
A few years back I had a problem with the herpes virus on my hand and the nice
folks on the silverlist helped me out quite a bit.
I am happy to say that I have not had a problem with that virus in years but, I

Hi Wayne,
I think I've got you slightly confused, which is understandable the way
the topic has wandered among several threads.
My design is for a flow-through device, but it's set up for the water

watering system.

I, too, would like to know if CS can be effective against rabies, as a
precautionary treatment as well as therapeutic. As a dog lover I am very
distressed to hear this story about the skunk and the puppies.

Terry,
Once you set up your general flow-through cell you will have the basic geometry fixed. Then, by
some experimenting you will determine a general ballpark voltage setting that will provide 6 amps of
current during the whole time that your water is flowing. You will have to set the water

Some may think this to be of no significance.
I still have lots of questions about the water system.
Terry,
I believe you're right on track with your idea for the mink ranch. The
reason I believe what you are doing and how you are doing it is correct is that
during the short few months I have been on the "silver-list" and most recently,
in contact with you, I have never had any of the su

Morning Mike,
That water system has some strange characteristics, and I am not
talking about water quality. I sure would like to see a diagram of it.
I'll send you the sketch you asked for of the idea I came up with
the other day.
I bet that is a sketch of the electrode container.

Morning Terry,
You have done a lot of thinking and sorting things out.
Most of our ideas did not fit in, and that is understandable.
None of us see the problem and the solutions as you do.
If we were there with you, we would all likely think differently.
The Water system has intrigued me beca

The key word here is 'approximate!' Weight of silver before minus
weight of silver after, divided by total gallons made. Close enough!

Many silver compounds kill germs should they be made along with the CS,
