Adding a couple of comments... To add a window, you might replace the cap with a piece of 1/4" plexiglas acrylic sheet. It will bond with PVC cement just fine, I believe. To make it more secure, use a coupling for joining two pieces of pipe and cut the window to fit in the open socket, instea
