Wow - that ratio seems pretty strong to me. The DMSO I have at home is a liquid. If I mixed 70% DMSO to 30% distilled water, I'd still have a liquid. I'd think there has to be something else in it for yours to be a gel. Did you make it yourself (and what did you use?) or did you purchase it
