Hi Steve,
The Liposomal recipe is also on the Vitamin C Foundation forum.I'm planning
to try Brook's recipe myself this weekend.

Thanks!!

The needles are edible, directly, but of course we're not ruminants and not
set up to efficiently digest such. You bring water to a boil, remove heat,

Brook,
Your recipe for Liposomal Vitamin C has made the rounds of several forums.A
question came up on one as to how you were able to measure the "70%
encapsulation efficiency".I didn't have a clue so thought I would try going
to the source.

How would you prep the pine needles ?
It seems they would have a strong, resin taste ?

Well, okay, I'll give it another try, but to get my husband to drink it, it'll
have to be hidden with other stuff. Yesterday, I tried to make a watermelon
slushie type of thing. I think maybe using the ice cream setting on the
blender was part of the problem, since when I use the extra-long sm
This is an energy drink though, and would have to get through the
stomach acid. This is why the sublingual/spray types are better,
because they go through the mouth membranes. dee

Hi Diane,
You caused me to remember something. I do have a very good grain mill and I
will order whole grains, but they will have to be GM free. Out of sight,
out of mind with me.
Now that I think about it, we have a company who buys wheat in the
neighboring town and I can buy some next year if
Whole watermelon with the rind is an EXCELLENT kidney cleanser. Be careful
if you drink a LOT of it in one day, because it can really clean things, so
not only will you be peeing a lot, but it may hurt due to excess acid being
taken out.
Don't forget the wild plants--cleavers, chickweed, miners l
For that same SHTF scenario, I've been collecting info on this very thing,
and getting details on what plants are edible and which are not. Also
experimenting with my mega-HP blender. Whole strawberries, hull, greens and
all, are good. Whole watermelon with the rind, not so much.

Dear Brooks,
Process for converting rose hips to Vit C
Some time ago you recommended planting Rosa rugosa for the rose hips rich
in vit C. I have found some growing nearby and wondered how to turn those
red fruits into something edible. The hips are dry-ish and filled with
many small seeds, sl
Zip Fizz has as much B12 as a shot from the doctor. Don't take it within 5

Hi Ruth, the best form of B12 is methylcobalamin and it comes in a
spray form by Advantage. This is the one I use and I've just had my
B12 levels checked and they are fine on this. Other types just don't
get through the stomach acid. Vitacost do this, but take some time to
deliver, altho

Hey folks-
I have so much going on that I just can't be everywhere and had to drop
participation here a while back. (Sorry Craig for not getting back to you
but I will sooner or later.)
Someone forwarded Brooks' post to me and,
Well, yes you can.

You can always go to www.breadbeckers.com and buy organic grains. We are in a
coop and order four times a year. I bought a grain mill and grind the grain as
we need it. My husband loves everything I make from the whole grains.
