Dear Cs'ers,
Have you even seen or heard such vindictiveness as the "fearless Frenchman"
exhibits??
I did introduce polarity switching, in early 1999. Mike, check your
dictionary. Mine says the #2 definition of "introduce" and that is the word
that I used, means to "bring into practice or use." A

Actually, it appears your first post was a month earlier, when you
discussed your brand new $225 war surplus spectrophotometer.
You know,

Hi Reid,
When I introduced polarity switching about 5 years ago I did a study on
swithing times but always with a 50% duty cycle. I started with 12 x 12 sec
and advanced to 120 x 120 sec. I found that the 60 x 60 was the best
comprise. I did sell about a dozen EZCS2 units with motorized stirring.
Hi Reid,
The TDS will read about half the PWT. So, if it reads 1, the PWT will read
about 2.0.

Hi Reid,
The unequal switching times can be partially overcome by swopping
electrode connections regularly. Say at least once per side during
the entire process. I can't see that this is a worry other than that the
electrodes are worn done unevenly.
Can't comment on the 1/2 minute switching tim

Everybody,
Now I'm wondering if my PWT may need calibration. For one thing the
de-ionized distilled water I use, which I was told is about 7.0 TDS (7.0
mg./l.) has indicated 0.2 uS on the PWT. Does this sound about right?
I first thought that 7.0 TDS would read around 5.0 to 7.0 uS? Is the

Ole Bob, Marshall, Ode, Trem, Mike, Silver Friends One and All,
I need help in understanding why my generator for concentrated CS is
outputting very low ppm. Can somebody help? Today I did a first trial
run of an automated switching device, for the generator shown at
