If they get tiresome to the "elders", filter it out with your mail program
preferences.
Someone who wants to be in charge of it, check it periodically for outdated
links, etc.

Check out messages on 9-26-00. Mike posted 2 FAQ's there, one an "Into
and Overview FAQ" and the other a "Vendors FAQ".
At that time he was proposing posting the FAQ's every week or so.
