When I have a cold or chest congestion I use a nebulizer with CS combined with 3% Hydrogen Peroxide. The H2O2 is to oxygenate the lung tissues and also to kill bacteria/virus. I don't know if that approach can substitute for the Oxygen used in the tests. - Steve
