Oil of oregano is a staple at our house, and generally used in
conjunction with CS for best results. We have had phenomenal
success using it for shingles, prostatitis, mouth sores, and an
especially difficult 2-3 week round of severe diarrhea, which had the
doctor stumped, and which came up
I observe that this stuff can be really painful! The O of O, just a
drop, on the skin burns; on mucous membranes, watch out! I've had
great results with an aroma stone, but wonder about other uses, to be
honest. To check for oneself, one need only put a tiny drop on, say,
a toothpick,
I've successfully taken OoO internally by diluting a few drops in a shot
of apple juice, or apple cider. It's quite palatable, but 3 drops did
burn my throat a bit.
It works fabulously!

Maybe, but the wild stuff grows around the Mediterranean. I think
extracting the oil would likely be more trouble than it is worth.

Marshall, I do remember awhile back that someone had brought the subject up

Supposedly, the best as to potency is called Oreganol by North American Herb

Vitamin Shoppe you will find the same brand $10.00 less than at Wild Oats.
The name may sound foreign, it is LatinOriganum vulgare,
Yes, I purchased a bottle of Organol oregano oil the other day and have
been inhaling it. I simply remove the cap, and breath the fumes in, no
nebulizing or anything. I am hoping to clear my sinuses with it.

Very interesting about nebulizing 00. From my
own experience with this oil, I too hope that the

But since it can be a most beneficial thing, I am
very interested in what is learned about
nebulizing it. For my part, plese feel free to

Just thought I'd mention that Oregano essential oil is a powerful
emmenagogue so should not be used during pregnancy.
It is also said to be a fairly severe skin irritant and a very severe
mucous membrane irritant. Doesn't necessarily mean not to use it, but
caution is a good idea, using it well
