Right, and I'm pretty sure I've told him not to expect ping replies.
I was wondering if remote users might experience problems depending on which

Actually, I should have edited that out, it's not the relevant part, sorry.

If you're using the TA 900 for PRI trunking then you have to use
sipXbridge, even with 2.0.5 firmware. Without it, directed call pickup
and attended transfers won't work.
I've been dealing with that since I first implemented sipX.

I was hoping that this might be of some interest to developers. I don't know if
this is specific to sipx or something else which is why I wanted to pass the
information on.

Well, you really should schedule upgrades for them, if only because

Good info. We've had issues with Polycom phones and REFER for call
transfers. So, we've been sending calls through the sipXbridge.

I'm assuming it's a Total Access 900 series? If so, you HAVE to run at
least firmware 2.0.5 (the latest). That is the first firmware version
that (somewhat) supports REFER.

Yes, but a lot of that history is good... I know that I still have a few

I just don't see (after looking at the wiki program a bit) how we will handle
full documentation. It really looks like we'll need to copy everything from

It is a very good new years resolution i think.
Personally, just removing dated docs would be a vast improvment
as i (initially) get confused reading about stuff that has already been
fixed.

Yes, assuming the Adtran plays nicely with SIP. The only time you need
to add a phone is if it is a managed device.

We have users with iphones that register to the sipX server with only the
user being created (no phone). The application on the iphone registers and
works well.
Can an Adtran router with analog ports register to the sipX server in the
same manner?
Thanks,

I have found that it doesn't matter what signaling I use. I've tried
NI2, DMS-100, and ESS5 and all of them have the same problem on the
Audiocodes.

I've had trouble with integration before with Patton and other PBX's.
One thing I did to get around things was to try different integrations /
