Are you suing a third party cert or the sipx default?
When I had this issue, it it was related to the root cert for the CA. In
my case, the CA was my internal Microsoft cert server.

I've been reading a lot of search results and haven't found any way to
do this yet. Yes, I understand that using numeric User ID's is
preferred, but we're not doing that.
This is on sipXecs 4.2.1 stable. A user is defined with alpha only, e.g.

have not tried it, but if you HAVE to, keep in mind, openvpn will put a
lot of overhead on the system.
