Well, I woke up and found this thread... I think I just have to defend
Yealink here. We support installations with hundreds of them and they work
flowlessly. Yealink's SIP support is outstanding - they are a real
competitor to Polycom here.
We have 4.6-compatible version of plugin for phones with

Hello,
For those who doesn't know us - we are Siberian (Russia)-based system
integration company promoting sipXecs/openUC.
You probably heard of us developing Yealink plugin.
We believe in sipXecs/openUC as future huge ecosystem market and want to be
part of it as extension/addon/custom developer
Hello,
You can download pre-built version of the plugin at
http://siplabs.ru/downloads/sipXyealink.tar.gz to try it.
We are now working on re-designed version with different menu structure
(corresponding with phone menu not config file structure) which will come
with build scripts.

Hello,
Sorry for being silent, we were accomodating in our new office.
We can send you pre-built version if you need it. English page on our site
with download links is under construction and will be available soon.
Please don't hesitate contacting me directly on any sipXyealink-related

Hello,
It seems like we've stepped on bug.
sipXecs (4.4.0- 2012-04-13EDT09:44:58 ip-10-72-10-163)
We have sipXecs in one location and asterisk on the second location where
it has some extensions and connects to PSTN. Our initial goal was to
connect both stations with station-to-station numbering
in.
Thanks for your interest!

Hello there.
It seems to me that currently any user can intercept any call with simple
INVITE, replacing to and from fields. You can test it with VOP or any other
capable phone.
Since I'm not currently a guru in sipXproxy internals (I'm not even sure if
it's fully stateful) I have a question - is
Hello there,
sipXecs v4.4 sipXecs (4.4.0- 2012-04-13EDT09:44:58 ip-10-72-10-163)
The system seems not to close files before deletion which brings us like 1
thousand open file id's per day on main server.
lsof shows tons of temp files not being closed properly.

Updated (sipXecs (4.4.0- 2012-02-08EST08:58:30 ip-10-72-10-163)). Checked.
Now I confirm it fails when display name is in UTF8. Shall I fire an issue?
(I already owe you one :))

Hello,
I think it's the latest one (it was installed and updated like 4 weeks ago)

Hello there.
Houston, we have a problem :)
We experience bad click2call behavior: REFER URI-s are malformed: system
uses first name instead of user name (which is digital of course). First
name and last name are in RUSSIAN and are in UTF-8 (this may cause it here).
Example value of bad REFER clic

Hello,
One of our customers today asked for a feature he *loved* in his old
Panasonic PBX - return of calls being blindly transferred that got no
response after timeout.
Panasonic PBX can act like this:
when someone does a blind transfer of a call to a third party, that party
rings for some time

Hi.
We are now evaluating efforts to create and contribute integration with
TTS/ASR engines using uniMRCP (through managed freeswitch). Current plan is
to do it by summer.
