Well we had pretty good prices on Digium but still the A500 models
with EC chip are a bit more expensive for the same port density.
I'm however still open to discussion about this of-list :)

Are some of you using Patton smartnode BRI gateways ? I see the
hardware EC is only 25ms (PRI one have 128ms).
Is this tail long enough for PSTN connection under regular usage ?
