to six Siemens Hicom/Hipath PBXs through E1 connections, plus a Patton

Actually I have six Patton Smartnode 4960 with Q.SIG license connected
to six Siemens Hicom/Hipath PBXs through E1 connections, plus a Patton
Smartnode 4960 connected to the PSTN via an ISDN PRI.
Everything works well.

So on the topic of gateways...do many of you use Cisco as a voice
gateway? I use one as a gateway for my lab, but haven't researched the
price point to determine if its economical as a standar
I got the Mediant 1000 out of the box with the serial cable and nothing
else, so setting it up definitely felt like rocket science. I managed
to get it working, after a fashion, in about half a day of playing
around with things I barely understood, and so far have managed to get
it to call out s
n hour. No complaints there. The issue I'm trying to resolve is that the Patton isn't picking up incoming caller ID.

much better n so many way. They are not supported as plug and play, but they
are much more highly configurable, stable and much better supported directly by
