We also have had this issue with 3.2.5. Initially Polycom though it was a an
issue with sidetone but we downgraded to 3.2.4 and the issue went away. So we
never got an official response back from polycom.
I'd try downgraded a few of the "trouble" phones to see if it returns.

forward in place. The user(s) with the ring being experienced might had a
call forward (maybe to a cell phone? or pstn number?).
I'm sure this was discussed. What you haven't said is what kind of gateway
