Hi, This laptop is stalling in bootup at "finding network interfaces". Acer Aspire 3002/WLC' This was really embarassing as I has two presentations to do for work. It has been happily using Ubuntu/breezy for its entire life of 8months. This has occured after doing a apt-get upgrade on weekend.

Had similar p[roblem with my BenQ at one stage. Mine has 2 ethernet ports and one wireless. On home network using switch and modem/router, my laptop uses lan0 as the network connection, not eth0 or eth1. I merely turned off the connections I don't require using the Control Panel settings in
