the LVM drives, that is drive 2 and 3, that are left.
I have tried rebuilding the set, wg0, but the system want to reformat the
drive wg0, just created. Is this formatting going to format the real drives
and rather that just the LVM component?

The reason for the number of ports is because I tried
ed all the usual setting in KDE or via PCLos CC.
It does not make a sound.

As a point of interest HP say they do not support Linux on this machine.
Gentoo also worked reasonably well but i could not get VLC to work.

I am playing dvd's from the server with kmplayer. These are iso's
The system is 64 bit. this is the first time i have been able to do this.
The 32 bit copies the iso image before playing-not good.

I also have one of these devices and have no trouble with k3b recognising the
burner.
and the system does auto mount the hard drive on the device. I am running the
64Bit version of Mandrive 2006.0

Kmail and Konqueror 3.1.1 crashed on Thursday. Kmail was not active at the
time but Konqueror was downloading RH9.0.93Beta from aarnet.
Kmail lost all settings and Konqueror lost all bookmarks?
Any thoughts as to why this happened. I am behind a firewall!

With less hard drives this supply should work fine. however, with only 2
*10K drives and the burner+dvd i was working fine with 300W.
It does look as though either cabling or motherboard has a problem.
I have an athlon 2.2+ system with 5 devices (drives) on a 300W psu.
