Have Kubuntu Hardy installed and running fine for ages.
Replaced DVDRW with new unit, now it is not "seen" by system/k3b etc.
Boots fine from a linux livecd/dvd.
I assume that this is because of the "fantastic" UUID system.

I've been scratching my head over this one and can't work it out so

I've got two kubuntu boxes, one running 6.06 and the other 6.10.
In my .vimrc I have the following mapping set to automatically add
opening and closing {} for code blocks:

Warty/Hoary recognised my atheros based netgear pcmcia card thingie and
all went well at fi

Installation went well except it didn't recognise my Atheros-based wifi card
(Dlink DWL-G650, h/w rev C3). No big deal, I had the trusty Xircom ethernet
