Hello Gang,
Well, I was there, hoping to get into the contest. But, it was not to be
since Both of my Micro HLG frequencies were already taken. So I just sat
back and watched. Here are MY opinions!
First, I agree with Tom Hoopes. He had a very interesting contest that was

Good: Flying my Renegade with 1+ pound of ballast (I'd use more, but I
can't fit it in the fuse with the weights I have). Lots of fun.
Bad: Still couldnt get the
Hello HLG Contest fliers out there,
you will find the current provisional F3K Rules (effective as from

Many of us are unhappy with some portions of these rules.

Hi All
Can anyone please describe to me how the RES Class model specification is
defined and enforced.
- What stops someone building a Thermal Eagle with diheadral and an
enlarged rudder to effectively destroy the concept of the class.
- Do you mandate an open structure?
- Are carbon fibre
Two people recently posted that they are not sure of where Pager
Frequencies are.
The answer is simply exactly one half way between two R/C Channels. In
answer to Perry Hudson's question about getting hit on channel 41 and 42 ,

Gordy,
You go too far, and might reasonably be accused of committing a greater
sin than that which you accuse Klaus of.
Klaus has perfectly correctly gone to the manufacturer before he went to

Klaus,
This was a stupid post. First the way to get better products is not to
advertise a company's shortcomings but rather to promote the positives of
their product.
Positives have their place, but I also want to know the negatives so that I
can weigh where my $$ is going.
I have an Airtronics Vision with the ATRCS 3.0 upgrade, a new battery, but
no module. Excellent condition. $200.00 plus shipping.
I am willing to trade straight across for a Futaba 8UAFS/UAPS if anyone is
interested in going that route. Thanks!

Klaus,
If you are comparing RnR to say Jaro Muller then the results are just
what you indicated. But the comparison is really not right. RnR is in the
business of producing molded planes at a price that fits within the (mainly)
USA price range. The quality is of the functional variety, not
