The idea of 'foamy' is to have some bounce-ability. If you used CF, it would be stiffer until the first crash. Then the CF would break loose from the foam because of the 'give' in the foam. Stick with the strapping tape. It's worked on 100's, maybe 1000's of Zagis. You can put the colored
