I had a similar, but a bit less detailed account of the 610 from JR, thanks
Bob for the detailed info. They basically acknowledged to me that there was
indeed a problem, and that the next run of receivers(probably available by
now) will incorporate changes which will fix the problem.

I would recommend that you look at fma receivers, as well. I don't know why,
but no-one seems to mention them, they're always talking 555, supreme, etc.
The FMA weights .5 oz, is already out of the case and shrink wrapped, and
comes with a lightweight antenna wire.

I downloaded it last night with 56k to a save, it took about 4 hours. Try starting it
then going to bed, you'll be like a kid on
