I have a Sirius, TRC, Hobbico, and a FMA super nova.
The FMA is the newest, and seems to be the most versatile.
It is very configurable - plugplay or custom cook. Costs about $130.
It only does one pack at a time, however --- but it will handle motor packs

When I think of spoilerons, I think of ailerons (ie, at the TE) that move upward in
unison to spoil wing lift. Move downward, they are flaperons.
"spoilers", OTOH, are panels at or near mid-chord that act in unison to spoil lift.

Larry,
I bought some three-strand twisted wire from FMA.
I also made up some myself at minimal expense. I bought wire of the
appropriate gauge, fineness of inner strands, insulator thickness and
color, etc. I then took about 10 foot sections of each color, tied
them together in knot at one

The Super Nova is useless for cycling 110ma packs.
I don't like it's 500 mA discharge rate for cycling receiver

at roughly the same rate as actual use (250 mA is typical for me).
The battery experts say the high rate is not a
I heard someplace local that the sidearm HLGs are experiencing structural
problems at 60" spans while at lower spans like 50" this is being reduced.
Something like the wing is not holidng up.
Does anyone have any observations on this situation and potentiallhow the

I call it the "Friggot Flinger" but he has yet to name it. This side arm

Chris,
All new discus designs seem to experience a few failures when thrown
hard. Most of us have learned to add a shear web and spar caps to
keep them together. I have never experienced flutter on any of mine

Actually, 60" is not common. 1.5m is the rule.
P.S. I really know this rule, I think all my planes got the saw on the tips
