My impression has been that MonoKote weighs more and is stronger. I've
used MonoKote, Ultracote, Oracover Light, and Nelson Cover, and they are
in that order of strength, from strongest to weakest.
I did a lot of patching of Nelson.

I've been looking around for some kind of comparison chart of different
covering materials for a while... so far the only one I've come across was
in a transcript of the MARCS National Sailplane Symposium from 1987 that
Oliver Wilson let me borrow (thanks Ollie! I'll get it back to you,
I find that Monocote will satisfactorily stiffen an open-bay built-up wing.
I find Ultracote is more rubbery and is better used on flat, solid
surfaces.
I built a Chrysalis wing with Ultracote and it fluttered like mad on launch!
I stripped it off and replaced with Monocote and never got another

Well I e-mailed the guy. And asked him if they were computer designed. He sent
me some photos of those same planes in flight, so they are not fake photos. Still one
hell of a covering job.
Thanks,

If your receiver is JR compatible all you need to do is replace the crystal

The Allegro Lite is another case in point.
It is designed for Monokote on the center panel
for torsional stiffness.
This design choice was made before I had any real

I am looking to purchase my first computer Tx. I am currently putting
together my first DLG, the Taboo. I do not plan to use a gyro and may
need a slight preset on both the elevator and rudder. I would also like
to adjust the chamber on my Flamingo.

programming/reference manual for this transmitter, and if so does anyone on
the list have a spare one that I might purchase?
I'd like to get as much pleasure and utility out of my new (to me) toy.
Many thanks.

Could someone point me to Skip Millers Web Site?
