The ASPIRE 2M is a great wood ARF. Light, well made and looks great.

THis is an oversimplification, unless you are comparing a Spirit to a
foamie. A good wood trainer is much easier to fly than a foamie because
it is much slower. I would rate them about even if you have an
instructor. Learing process will generally be faster with wood, but you
can be more agressive

Did you guys use ball links?

Can you get this? I think it's been discontinued. If so, it's a
wonderful training airplane.
Hi Brian
The link you are looking for below. Look for the Zugi, cross between a Zagi
and and a Mugi. There are some nice looking other Coro planes there too.

AM has nothing to do with it. You can't get them anymore, I don't think,
but I have an AM receiver that works very well. However, it is a DUAL

You are probably referring to either the Zugi or Zugini, not the Mugi if it
is Zagi-like in planform. Here is where you should look for any of them

If you are just beginning, your choices are:
Balsa = fly, crash, repair, repair, repair; fly, crash, repair, repair,
repair and so on until you give up or learn.
Foam = fly, crash, dust it off, fly, crash, laugh, dust if off, fly, crash,
laugh some more and so forth until you learn.

Hello all,
I recently lost my hard drive and with it a bookmark
to a cool set of plans for a Coroplast flying wing -
looks like a Zagi, but made from 2mm or 3mm Coroplast.
Anyone know what I'm talking about and what site to go
to??
Thanks,

Hey Brent
If you are talking about Los Banos fun fly which is really a slope site but we had

thermal activity Tony Elliot was the only

I highly recommend the MAD Highlander. It is a nicely designed airplane
that can give you decent thermal performance AND a perfecly good slope
plane. Since it is made out of EPP foam, it is extremely durable. It
will survive many crashes while generally requiring little or no repair

I meant the Muncie, IN Aerotow the LB get together sounds like it was
a blast, thanks for the recap -
any other chances locally (Ohio, Indiana, KY, etc) to fly a bigger ship??

Recently aquired one of these 60" F3F crunchies. Can you say "very thin
wings"? I've read where some have sanded HS-80 type cases and gotten them
to fit. Anyone have any other ideas? I have the AIL only wing (no flaps)
and the control surfaces seem relatively small. Am I crazy in considering
