penetration for windy days like the RNR Millennium. Send me an email
off-list and tell me what you have that needs a good home.

The 8013 is the easier radio to program for a standard 4 wing servo
model. Lots of references out there.
As far as 10 radios older than the 10X, the 10SX and 10SXII were both
very capable of setting up 4 wing servo models. Even 6 wing servos. If
you go way back to the 10S, you had fewer

Thanks for the write up. I have a feeling I know what the optimum plane
would be for such a contest...and 10 of us were flying them yesterday.
We had an impromptu hand launch session in Valencia. Joe had given me a

Mike Lachowski has a nice page with setup information. He just posted that
information this morning.
Oops got my JunioR radios mixed up.
However I still like Mikes page.

Hello All,
This forum is great. I'm learning all sorts just by reading!
After years of building my kids 'chuckies' and band powered gliders

OK, it seems to me that either the good old 2 meter Gnome or its little
brother, the HLG Gnome, might be pretty darn competitive in an event like
this.

I been thinking about this for awhile and have decided to run this format as
a contest this year in the Cincinnati/Dayton area.
I plan to run a hi-start H/L F3J contest. The rules will be pretty much the
same as in full size F3J except for the fact that we will use H/L's (1.5
meter) on a short
