Last year I purchased various lengths servo wire extensions with
different color Futaba connectors and I can not find the link to the web
site that I purchased them from.
Can anyone recommend a web site where I can purchase such extension
wires?
Thanks

Greetings,
IF one wanted to purchase four (4) Volz Micro-Maxx X servos, who is selling
them in the US that has them in stock? OR perhaps its a fact of life that no
one carries an inventory any more?

The DARTS have 2 sanctioned contests this month, the RES/Nostalgia contest
on the 15th and the 2 days of Handlaunch on June 21-22.
If Woodcrafters got you excited to fly Nostalgia or RES, then carry that on
to what should be a great contest on the 15th. The Handlaunch contest has

Downers
Well, okay I was just kind of pushy :-)
I did manage to snag a couple of thirds since Jim Frickey and Dale Nutter decided to hog first and seconds.
We had a sweet day of sun and thermals. RES boys had a great day too.
You all missed a fun contest in St Louis.

Guys, with now having built #24, #25 and with #26 being built, I don't need
#23 built last fall.
If interested, ask me to e-mail Notes on #23. First come, first served.

Michael,
I understand the difficulty in stocking these goods. My interest
stems from the fact that we are hosting the F3J Canadian team trials summer
and then the F3J Worlds next summer. http://www.f3j.ca
I agree that it is tough getting the pilots to hand tow planes. I

Which servos were used? Look at the loads, 1 kg at 10 mm that's .4 inch arm
with a 2.2 pound load hanging off the end, limited to 1 amp current. I
guarantee I could let the smoke out of a bunch of servos like that.
Unless my math is wrong (no coffee yet, so a real possibility) 2.2 pounds

The fact that no one knows what failed makes your statement
...Something failed at that speed, but it wasn't servos , their gears
or electronics incorrect and misleading.
The premise that listmembers (quote) Stop reading NOW and start
building and flying, learn things for yourself... contradicts
EPP jackets on the cradle and layed up 2oz glass and resin etc.
Pardon a possibly dumb question; why use EPP for something that's gonna get
glassed? Doesn't the glass defeat the advantages of the bouncy foam?

Oh, great, the servo war is heating up again!
Are we gonna re-hash the combatants again? For several years now I've felt
that Red servos are the best in quality. Blues are decent but are best in
mounting hardware. But is there really a pronounced difference?
Of course for me the discussion

It's time once again for that little trip to central PA.
BAR/CSS 1'st Annual Hand Launch Glider Contest
4th Great Year:-)
JUNE 21ST AND 22ND
Held on the Carlisle Aeromodelers Field near Carlisle in south central PA. This is a great field for handlaunch, no trees to slope, true thermal
I seriously doubt that there are many contest that the servo makes the difference to whether or not the pilot enters the winners circle. I have digitals in a couple of planes and analogs in the others. For me the race(color) of the servo has never had any effect on the way the plane flys only

Speaking of servos, Futaba has a new servo out with
the sailplaner in mind. It is a 9650 digital that is smaller than the Airtronics
141 but in that same design, i.e, side and front mounting lugs. All of the stats
are metric and I'm not going to take the time to convert them now. Looks

Chris.
if you look at the HSL web page under the 'For Sale' section, you
will see the hand tow pulleys we use. They would also be suitable for F3J,
as the strap/rope could go through the handle, for 2 man tows.

I have a Xica fuse for sale.
It has my rev1 wingeron hardware already installed, a ballast box, aluminum
stab bellcrank, and molded CF split rudder speed brake. It is brick house
strong. I probably will never get to
using it . If you don't know what a Xica is, you probably don't want one.
