There have been some posts about Ava wings failing at the poly joiners
on a hard launch. This must be some sort of intermittent manufacturing
problem, because the design should take a hard launch. I can only say
that my Ava has survived a full season of pretty hard launches with no
problem. I have
I expect that Tower Hobbies and that Group will replace the faulty BOT ARF
wings. They are good with warranty and they take care of faulty goods that
they sell. Their customer service is great.
Have you contacted the seller about the AVA? How about sharing the response

I have two Hitec 85 that were too big to fit into the intended plane. They
have never left the workshop, but I cut one servo arm off to see if they
fit the plane's flaps comfortably - they didn't, and hence this sale.

I am the one who has had some problems with the Ava tip joiner, but the problem started when I caught a tip on the ground when landing, and broke the joiner - not an in-flight failure. I have finally successfully repaired the joint, using carbon reinforcements and very strong epoxy, but Barry
