I agree Jim, my walls are covered with wall plaques and they still serve
Peg and I of some great memories of friends and dinners out. Really fun
weekends that we will miss.

Having been blessed with this problem, I found the Boy and Girl Scouts,
churches, and even just deserving kids to be the best use of trophies that
my wife decided were no longer needed. I am certain the feeling received
from the kids that ended up with the trophies was every bit as fulfilling as
I must say it was quite spectacular! The only one I could
think of blaming, was my timer, the ex sparky Lowell Norenberg!
Actually the fuse may one day fly again (smoke damage only),
but all of the equipment was lost, as you might expect.
On a brighter not, so to speak, I was given
Joe Wurts, another guy that has earned a trophy or two over the years, often
donates them to other soaring clubs to use as they wish. The SAGE club,
outside Tucson, has made one of the larger ones into a perpetual trophy.

I have to rekit a fuse for a plane that destroyed
its original one in a crash. Its a 3 meter TD ship so music wireisn't
going to be rigid enough to control the surfaces, particularily the
stab.The original fuse had a custom arrangement made from 3mm aluminium
tubing that ran through a
