What, no skeg?;-) You might consider a less rigid, flexible bonding system, something like the PFM from the hobby-lobby catalog or the silicone-like flexible glue Bob Violett sells, I think it's a cousin to room-temperature vulcanizing stuff... I think what's happening is your fuselage is

BVM Jets sells relabeled Hysol 9462. This is a formula designed to cure quickly in an autoclave. At room temperature it needs 72 hours to reach full strength. A better alternative for our use is Hysol E-20NS available from McMaster (6430A29). It is thixotropic, has a 20 minute working time

Endless Mountain Models http://www.scalesoaring.com email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] don't make this more difficult than it has to be. Some ill advice out there it seems. You need to roughen up the area to be bonded inside the fuse. You do not need to sand so much you chew through the fibers.

I believe these are quality switches, but be sure to test the handlaunch-sized switches under load so that you know they do not heat up like the Radioshack switches. For high-loads you can also use #DCJ-11 jack switch with #DCLID 2.5mm co-ax plug. Here are the allelectronics.com part numbers:

To do this kind of stuff, you are correct, your model has to be bullet proof. Strong wing, strong stabs, strong and tight linkages with no flutter on any surface. Lately, I have been tearing some thermals up with this thermalooping! I am feeling there is some sort of energy gain/release by
