I've never had a problem with that although I'm sure that bag gets pulled aside and searched by TSA on a regular basis. I would never try to carry anything on that wasn't just normal tourist stuff like cl

[RCSE] Off Topic - Electronics Stuff FS

2004-09-17 Thread Simon Van Leeuwen
Every once in a while stuff happens in the electronics industry that you shake your head at. That is, disposal of perfectly good parts, that are very expensive, for inadequate reasons. I loved the video! What a sweet sloper! I guess I jump in with a little plug for one on the kits on my site. Viewing it you will see a chain link fence and steel poles that lose or at least come up in a full-fledged stalemate with the PCW!!! Keep in mind that the plane in the video is electric, b

[RCSE] testing the DC 9 at 11/10 of design limit

2004-09-17 Thread WE Johns
Greetings, No soaring content, please excuse. Some time ago there was a web site showing a film clip of, I believe, a DC-9 being landing tested at "11/10th". The whole fuselage sorta wiggled and the tail broke off. Can anyone point me at that web site? Thanks, Bill RCSE-List facilities provid

Based on your posted findings, the pack is fine to use in an aircraft. The specs are well within the OEM's suggested (conservative BTW) operational parameters. There is no gaurantee a new pack of similar cells would offer better capacity values... Quoting Stefan Smets <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > H
