I used the Channel Checker to verify the channel number of all transmitters
at the Airfoilers 35th Annual Sailplane contest. All checked OK with two
exceptions. I noted that one transmitter illuminated several diodes when
the antenna was almost touching the Channel Checker. The transmitter

It was my first time. and things started with my 'a' Pike breaking its
elevator pushrod at the clevis in the back on a hand toss (too many nose in
landings must have stressed), so I was down to one plane before i even
started.
Then my charger had a lose wire inside so had to work on it.

Futaba were careful to build up the hype before launch, so their claims
invite scrutiny. Frankly the discussion on the 14MZ forum bordered on the
hysterical before the system was even launched.
I just get 2-56 threaded brass couplers and ream them slightly to fit
the pushrods. Less hassle, a lot cheaper and no worries if I should
ever need to replace a clevis down the road.
