a friend about you job. Very tough, but somebody has to do it.

In a FLS each field coil is in series with a brush set. The power goes through
the field coil and into the positive brush, through the armature and then is
grounded on the negative brush which is 90 degrees to the positive brush. If

Hey now,
Um, no, not true. The timing controls how efficent the motor turns
in whatever direction. If the timing is off a bit it'll still work, just
not as well.
Dan,
Based on posts on the forums, I would point you to the Gambler. This seems
to be a kit that is universally loved and praised. The others you list are
also good choices but the Gambler seems to top this stack. I don't have one
but the community seems to love this plane.
The Gambler-AG = $7

Dan,
Many of your questions have answers and much more info on RCgroups.com
on the Handlaunch forums. See:http://www.rcgroups.com/hand-launch-96/
As for the other questions, most are using composite winged planes
because of their stiffness, airfoil accuracy, and ease of building.

It would look like you would need to use the switch to reverse the polarity of
the brushes in the two switch positions. A little surgery will be needed but it
is doable. Timing may be an issue but you should only see reduced torque in the
nonstock polarity.

Hi Alberto
The Longshot and Lonbgshot 2 are both good models. I'd recommend them not just
for fun flying either, they both perform well.

No, liquid nitrogen can not make smoke. It can make fog or mist but I doubt

Dan, I built my first DLG (an ArtHobby kit) two years ago, trying to
save a few bucks and not knowing how I would like tossing gliders and
flying them. I beat it up pretty badly learning to launch, fly and
catch one of these DLGs. I had some good flights, some lasting 7-8
minutes, which I was th
