Rich Beardsley has organized a one day cross country contest this
Saturday (5/27) at the SVSS field. He calls it a Montague Tune Up.
The pilot's meeting is scheduled for 9:00AM. The task is distance. All
planes on the ground at 3:00PM. No entry fees, no trophies just a whole
lot of fun.
Looks like a great plane, but with thin fuse and
profile, it might be hard to see if you don't stay under it. The one thing
I noticed on the SBXC is that I can see that hunky fuse at 3000 ft.

Hi guys,
I attended the ISSA/LSF task day at Merrill Brady's place in S. California
last weekend, and had a great time flying cross-country. Its the first chance
I have had to fly cross country since getting my Level 5 goal there several
years ago.
