I had the same problem. It looks like the blind nut is aluminum and the threads were slowly wearing away. Through further investigation the supplied screw was only engaging about half the threads. So I took the middle screw moved it to the front and purchased a 30mm to use in the middle. Al

Heli-Coil it. I had a similar problem with a moldie a few years back and this worked perfectly. Make sure to work slowly and carefully and use cutting oil to minimize the possibility of breaking the blind nut loose. Tom Mark Williams wrote: Help, the forward blind nut on my Eraser is stripped.
