Maybe distance and speed could be an evening task set? Oh, that sounds fun!
Looking forward to a great soaring contest in September. I am sure that some

Proud of the great soaring events held in the Ohio Valley!

Marc, as if flying isn't an expensive enough hobby -- be careful about starting up with those cigars! Dana SNIPI had a blast, first cigar in 27 years, found out Red Bull Margaritas are really good, even ate Sushi one night, a first. SNIP MarcRCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News.
Watching the finals was worth the price off the addmission. Toughest contest
I have ever seen. You couldn't escape a round where you weren't flying
aginst one, two or three of the worlds best. Just look at the great pilots
who didn't make the finals.

Actually he needs to know the exact start date and time so he can plan
what time to show up at the field so he can get a quick fast charge on
the plane before the first launch. The plane has very likely NOT been
charged since

I find that it helps to look at the system.
To do a TD task you have a pilot, plane, caller/timer, preparation,
maintenance, conditions and luck.
The better the first things are the less important is the last.

And guys that want to fly their 2m's and RES models feel free to do so,
there is no restrictions on that as well.
