Also, I can recommend using the authenitcation REST API to add users instead of

a permission issue between your windows file system and the WSL file system?

will get a browser request for password if using basic auth. Upgrade to 8.x for

Have you investigated EFS as an alternative? That would look like a
normal filesystem to Solr but might be cheaper storage wise, but much

Right now the 8.4.1 release seems to be the most stable we have had for several
releases. There are some 16 new bugfixes committed for 8.5 so far so you could

You have to provide a lot more information in order to get help.
Java version, solr version, solr config (env vars), much more logs than what
you posted (something is crashing)

Normally I click the URL and do those queries directly in the browser address
bar instead of inside the Admin UI.

How long delay do you see? Is it only for query panel or for the UI in general?
A query for *:* is not necessarily a simple query, it depends on how many and
large fields you have etc. Try a query with fl=id or fl=title and see if that
helps.

I’ve also seen timeout with zkCli.sh of Solr8.4 when connected to 3 ZK and the
first is not accessible. Solr 8.4 has ZK3.5.5 while 7.x has Zk3.4.x

As I said, I don’t think you will be successful with a public OAuth provider
like google or GitHub.
I know little about how or whether they issue access tokens at all. I think
they just deal with ID tokens?
