Any idea how a message with so many hits got such a low score?

Wow, way to be rude about it.

Just wanted to let everyone know, my bayes journal sync problems went away
with SA 2.61
I'm using bayes_learn_to_journal 1 and bayes_journal_max_size 0, then
running an sa-learn --rebuild twice a day. That seems to be working very
well for me.

And again this morning:

If I recall the annoucement details correctly, the IP is still going to
resolve for a little while (few months?), but will not return any results.
Unlike Osirusoft's wildcard positive behavior, I don't see Dynablock's
shutdown having any immediate negative consquences.
Am I mistaken?
On Wed,
Can someone explain to me what this debug log entry means:
debug: bayes: something fishy, calculating atime (first pass)
I get it every time I run sa-learn --force-expire
Is that normal?

I've had this problem randomly. Bayes tends to lock itself for some sort
of DB operation, dies midway, and then dosen't clear the lock. I've
disabled my bayes in the meantime until I move over to spamd or amavisd-new.

So amavisd-new does use bayes, you just need to set the perms right?

Have you got the DB_File module installed? You need it for bayes. I

I have bayes_auto_learn turned off in .spamassassin/user_prefs:

So how come when I get this spam:

I'm still having this locking problem, so I've disabled bayes.
I'll look to either moving to spamd/spamc or amavisd-new over the next
couple of weeks to see if that resolves my lock contention problems.

This problem has caused me to stop using Spamassassin to do individual
reporting, and instead strip the emails and use razor itself to send spam
in batches. I've found this to decrease the errors substantially.
Additionally, now that I send in batches every 5 minutes, if razor refuses

Razor does a lookup to the Razor server every time. Nothing is cached.
I assume the same for DCC

I see a series of these in the procmail log:

Also, check vmstat or top instead of relying on your system load average.
The load average is not necessarily indicitave of your actual system load.
If you find it taking too many resources, try bumping it's nice level way
down when you run it.

If you use Windows and Outlook, try Cloudmark's Spamnet product. It's
the commercial version of razor, and feeds the same backend database.
I think it's still free to use. http://www.cloudmark.com
As far as looking up status, there's no official way to do it. You could

Hey Guys,
I apologize if these questions are asked somewhere, but I did browse the
