according to the ./configure output pthread.lib isn't yet supported ( I guess this is only true for OpenBSD ) so pppoa3 doesn't get build by make so I can only use pppoa2. Should work though because if I look through the mailing archives I can see that many people are using the speedtouch driv

Im trying to find the initialization sequence required by the modem. Is there a set sequence that needs to be followed, for example, first you set the configuration, then download microcode, etc? Currently Im running into a problem where the modem will not load the microcode Im sending to it.

I have, unless I've missed something that I shouldn't have... The speedtouch-1.1.tar.gz file comes with installation instruction particular to *BSD that (I think) I have followed to the letter. Have you seen any info regarding building pppoa3 on OpenBSD? If so, could you send me the url? Thanks

Hello Juel, I don't work with BSD buth with Mandrake Linux (they are broke, sad!). So I can't tell if any info with regard to pppoa3 is present on BSD. When using the sequence ./configure;make;make install the pppoa3 is built under Linux, as well as modem_run and pppoa2. That's all I know. You'l
