I have some problems performing searches with words containing special
characters - I initially created a topic at the Ickstream forum, but
from the response there, it seems to be an issue that can be tracked to
the LMS.
Problem:

Can you give us some more information about what search, what LMS
version, what OS, hardware etc.? This can't be a generic issue, as eg.
searching "København" in our Tidal implementation does work for me on
LMS 7.9:

so I am going to run in safe mode then only add back the plug ins I
would like to use and try that. once I add back in the plug ins during
safe mode, when running not in safe mode, am I correct that it only runs
the plugins I selected at safe mode?

The only i want to know right now is - without the plugins are you
getting the hickups or are they gone.

that's what I am testing now. give me a couple of hours to run through
some albums. please
so today I stopped the LMS server, then started it, and I am still
getting all these errors and I do not have the MAI or the Music Info
plugin from Erland running. The below errors switch between the two
below many times:

your guess is much better than most. so yea unfortunately the skips are
still there in safe
hold on please I noticed that in the information, only 3 of the 4
end points were connected via Ethernet... not sure how that got
changed... i just verifited that all end points are connected via
Ethernet (and not wireless) and i am now listening to music...

We arme not talking about local libraries here but services.
And I am seeing the same. Scandinavian accented characters don't work
for me in searches in LMS 7.8 and 7.9. All services, both directly
through the plugin or through global search

ahhh frustrating... yea still skipping... but it's a bit
different than before (when one of the end points were wireless -- not
sure how those got changed). so I've just got one end point/controller
working (not synced) and the skips are plentiful but very small - like
1/4 second long. j
What UIs are you testing with? What platform is your server running on?

what i don't understand is how some songs/albums can skip a ton and
others of the same profile (file format, bit rate, hertz, file size,
etc..) don't skip at all. i am taking a few of the latest albums that
have been skipping and deleting those tracks and re-installing them from
back-up. maybe i

What shall I say... working fine for me. My iPhone is in German, too.
But server side I've tested OSX as well as a CentOS based system.

I stopped LMS then deleted the scanner.log file. Then restarted LMS and
did a playlist scan and then a new and changed files scanned but no new
scanner.log file created. ssods user has ownership of the directory

marked with invalid ratings like '3.5'. Thinking these values were set
by the Trackstat plugin I decided to go to the plugins tab and look for
