How can I make the crossfade work with streaming media ?
Tried with both Qobuz and Spotty and both do not crossfade between
songs, while songs in the local library will.
Crossfade setting set to 10s / fade between different samplerates tried
both on and off.

Perfect - that just says LMS sees the excutable mpcpdec and has put the
rules in place. Which rulkes is applied depends on what is possible and
"best".

Thanks for the detailed reply! What happens if TuneIn goes out of
business? :) But that's probably just something to wonder about when/if
that happens.

Use of the TuneIn service is built into LMS.
When you search in the Radio section it is TuneIn that is being
searched.
LMS (or the local Squeezebox player) connects directly to the given
stream URL.
TuneIn (previously known as RadioTime) provides the queryable database
of stream URLs.
What it
I have my own LMS and I listen a lot to deephouse-radio.com. I am
wondering how this actually works since I cannot find a TuneIN plugin in
my local server. Also, there is no "radio.de" plugin. How does my LMS
know about deephouse-radio.com and all the other stations?
