If I were you, I’d consider abandoning LMS in that rather ancient SSOTS environment. There is QLMS now, where updating is much easier to handle and with a more modern environment. Please check out this Forum. karlek's

There are also other posts suggesting a DNS problem. When you verified you could see the UPnPbridge plugin xml file using a browser, was that on the vortexbox or a different system? Can you check your DNS is working OK on the vortexbox? LMS 7.9.1 on VortexBox Midi box, Xubuntu 17.04, FLACs
