I think I figured it out. I originally input 'findstr server.prefs.' I
just ran it as 'findstr shuffle server.prefs' and got back the
following:
_ts_shuffle: 1465422908
shuffle: 0
_ts_shuffle: 1464883863
shuffle: 0
_ts_reshuffleOnRepeat: 1464724499

This is in Winblows 10. I ran the "findstr" command in a command prompt
as an administrator. It just hangs and doesn't do anything. I've never
run a findstr command, so I'm probably doing it wrong. :)

Well .. I thought I had this one taken care of. But it's back, even with
the new server.prefs. I have tried disabling, one at a time: (a)
Crossfading. (b) Replay Gain. and (c) Remove Played Songs. to see if one
of these were causing shuffle to be turned off with every new song.
Disabling them one
Just make sure the old and the new server are running at the same time.
Or shut down one of them, edit its server.prefs file to remove the
server_uuid value, restart. Otherwise the players might get confused
when they see the same UUID for two different installations.

Thanks, but I am not using a random mix when the resetting occurs. It
just started doing this when I moved the server over to another
computer. I'm thinking that I may remove the copied-over server.prefs
and force it to create a new one and see if that fixes the issue. Any
other suggestions, of

Recently, I moved my LMS install from one computer to another. I copied
over my server.prefs and other files so that may be the problem, but
when I click the shuffle button, it remains on shuffle until it starts
playing a new song and then it turns off shuffle every time. Does anyone
know how to
