It works now, no idea why. Was out for the afternoon, now came back,
restarted the LMS again and suddenly the plugin was installed. Also
before I did restarts with longer waiting times before, so not sure what
was different now ...

If the complete file is downloaded then that is not the problem.
However, changes were made to the plugin download code for 7.9.3 ... if
you cannot move to that version (or higher) then you could try to merge
in the changes ... (risky)

What is that problem about exactly? I can see that the download
completes, the file is fully on the file system, and still when I
restart after that I get

Even with that log settings LMS does not provide more information beyond
the file does
Could this be the "sourceforge intermittent download problem" - made
worse because of the large size of this plugin?

I checked that folder now, and actually the file exists. And after the
restart it gets a new timestamp, maybe that means it is being downloaded
repeatedly?
Enable logging for plugin.extensions and server.plugins, check the "keep
settings on restart" box, save, re-try. You should then get more

Now quite some time has passed, but if I restart LMS now, I still have
the same problem. The Airplay bridge does not show under other plugins
and not under installed plugins, and I continue to get the prompt to
restart.
Anything in the server.log file?

the latest available for Synology.
Ah, ok. Most likely this is a timing issue I only fixed in 7.9+: Once
you get the prompt to restart LMS, wait another minute or two before you
restart. Larger plugins sometimes take a bit l

I tried to install the Airplay bridge plugin on my LMS, running on a
Synology DS413 NAS.
After activating it and pressing apply, LMS asked me to restart and now
it seems kind of stuck. The plugin shows neither in active plugins nor
in the list of other plugins. Whenever I open the plugins t
